Left-over paint mural

I really like this idea of using left-over paint to make an abstract mural:

I saw this picture in the Dutch Elle Decoration (issue Jan/Feb 2013), it says: treat the painting like a collage, using small and large squares and dare to use colours which do not seem to match. Fun idea!
