 Drawing along with Koosje Koene in my sketchbook, she used some tangerine fruits in a bowl as example. I was testing some aquarelpencils as a base.

Away

I have been away, on holiday in the Alps, and it has been like this: 

Lots of snow, hiking, being outside and enjoying family time. I am re-energized for the year to come and am looking forward to continue the creative work and projects.

Seeing shapes

 In cartoon movies the shapes of faces are always a bit exaggerated, but that is what gives them so much character. And why not try to see shapes in people's portraits? Train your eye and hand to record what you see. I guess you know which cartoon I was watching...
