One subject, different styles

I saw a tiny image of red lips,

and took my Indian ink with brush

and started drawing my own interpretation.

I have made one into a design for MOTIFLOW, 

so soon you can order fabrics with this print.

Fun :).

Paper, paper...

Just tried something with different pieces of coloured paper from a magazine:

tearing it up into letters:

and making a word with it, which is the name of our village:

Love the 3D-effect when pieces of paper are not glued on.

It is a nice exercise for composition and experiment.

And it costs nothing but time and fun!

Back in the studio...

I have been working on a new painting,

for which I used a picture as a starting point,

here is the start,

it is a work in progress:

Acrylics on canvas.

I love painting people. In class we often had to draw and paint a live model.

I find it challenging and difficult,

but that is exactly what I like about it :).

Along the shore

The endlessness of the sea, the colours of the beach,

the wind and seabirds,

always a good time walking along the shoreline.
