Some 15 years ago I followed lessons in abstract art. It was all about creating layers, enjoying the process, and turning your work to see whether something popped out. It is this technique that I used on this painting. I saw the shape of these two people moving, together. I painted the shapes that I saw and added some soft pastel colours.
