The Alps

I have spent some days in the Alps, in Switzerland. The snow was at its end, and the weather was sunny and blue. It was beautiful. I made several walks along the bisses, mountainwalks along a small creek.

Spring in the Alps with the crisp sunny weather was a treat, and now back to daily life...

 

Portrait

 I am making some self-portrait drawings in my sketchbook. I think this one came the closest:

But some dimensions are off I noticed... so let's keep trying... and maybe use a mirror, sketch...sketch...

To the beach

A short trip to the beach, it is so refreshing to see the immense empty skyline, to feel the wind and sun, to listen to the seabirds and to hike through dunes.

We also found these large pinecones, they are from a pine tree that grows by the sea. Very decorative! the long needles of this tree would be perfect for coiling projects (dry needle weaving).
