ADAD 15 and 16 about still life

In preparing a lesson for children on painting a still life I made these small drawings:

ADAD 13 and 14 Inspired by lace

In a fashion magazine I saw a sweater with a lace print, 

it inspired me to draw my own lace (with pen and pencil).

The possibilities for variations are endless... 

I have been to the Museum of Lace once, all those handmade decorations

are so wonderful to see. I also have several books on the history of lace, 

here in the Netherlands all the provinces have their own design.

I have never painted lace, but have seen many paintings in which the lace is painted so fragile...

I want to try it myself one time.

ADAD 12 watercolour fun, another one

haha, weird one! Rainbow dog with ears flapping in the wind.

ADAD 11 watercolour fun

Watercolour is a nice medium, I do not have a lot of technical knowledge about it,

so therefore I just experiment and play with it.

ADAD 10 abstract simplicity... I like it

To me simple can be so strong:

ADAD 8 is an Alphabet

Handwriting is very trendy at the moment and I read about an assignment 

to write one letter in 100 different shapes, quite a challenge. 

I quickly made a drawing of the letter Z and came up with 23 designs.

I made this alphabet, I've always loved writing and calligraphy. 

My grandmother had a calligraphy pen and taught me how to use it.

I made this one with a marker pen.
